Juancho R. called Weathertite in need of a minor gutter replacement on the rear of his home.  Upon arrival, our job supervisor informed Juancho of the procedure that would be taking place, and the precautions we would take to protect the surrounding property.  Yes, a small job, but quality Weathertite service nontheless!

Gutter Replacement / Chimney Repair - Norwalk, CT

David W. called our office knowing that he needed some work done to his gutters and chimney.  We assured him not to worry and that he was in good hands.  Our crew went to his home and assessed what needed to be done, and a contract was signed.  We walked David through what needed to be purchased and for what reason, and then we set up a date to begin the work.  We finished the job in two days and David was a satisfied customer.   

Minor Gutter Replacement - Shelton, CT

Heng, one of our customers from Shelton, CT, called our office with a small problem.  The gutter on the front main roof section on his home was damaged, so he explained that he just wanted it removed, discarded, and replaced.  We set up an appointment to meet with him, and then another to start the work.  The job was finished in a couple hours and Heng was happy with the appearance of the front of his home. 

Roof / Gutter Installation - Trumbull, CT

Rich and Gail called Weathertite in need of a new roof!  Their existing roof had years of wear and tear from previous New England winters and other dreadfull storms.  Thankfully for them, we had the opportunity to express our hospitality toward their needs.  

"When Joel arrived to survey the roof, he knew the roofing process start to finish.  He went up onto the existing roof to take measurements and photographs to document problem areas."  While assessing the work that needed to be completed, our crew had spent the time to answer all of the customer's questions and concerns.  

The roofing crew arrived the day the work was supposed to begin and the project manager introduced himself.  He was polite, professional and explained exactly what was going to be done.  He immediately took charge and put the crew to work right away.  They worked so fast, it was amazing to see the old roof stripped and replaced in two days. 

The two gutter installers arrived on the third day.  They knew what needed to be done when they looked at the roof.  With some minor improvements to the gutter system it made the entire roof complete. One of our crew members also made sure all of the debris were in the dumpster.  A satisfied customer to say the least!

New Gutter Installation - Ridgefield, CT

This Ridgefield homeowner was in need of new gutters due to years and years of wear and tear because of the harsh and unpredictiable New England weather conditions. Mark, the homewoner, called Weathertite Systems LLC voicing their concerns. 

Weathertite sent out the crew to go and give an esitmate to the homewoner as well as tell them what service would best suit their needs. After careful consideration and planning, Weathertite exported the plan and began the work on the gutters. The Weathertite crew installed 32 guage seamless aluminum gutters in white on the house. They had a winter guard protection to gurantee no more fear of the weather. 

Our crew cleaned up the leftover debris, and the owner of the home was highly impressed and recommended our company to many of their friends and family. 

Roof Replacement - Redding, CT

This Redding, CT homeowner, Valerie, was looking to have her roof redone. Her old roof was become old and worn out. The shingles she had were curling and popping off and the sheathing on the home was damaged. Work needed to be done and so Weathertite was contacted!

Weathertite came up with the perfect plan in order to improve the condition of her roof and ensure no more popping will be done during her time in her home. Valerie wanted a wood roof so Weathertite fulfilled her wishes. We installed weathered wood, applied new aluminum edging, new vent pipe boots, replaced damaged sheathing, and applied fiber glass reinforced underlayment. 

After the project was complete, the homeowner was very impressed. The home looked great and will be leak free for many years to come. 

Roof Installation - Fairfield, CT

Weathertite Systems recieved a call from Mary, a homewoner in Fairfield, regarding concerns about her aged roof. Shingles were beginning to fall apart and off and there were cracks in many all over her roof. Weathertite drove over and the crew gave Mary a free estimate as well as a detailed plan of what we would do to fix her problem. With preparation for the winter weather, it was the right choice for her to call Weathertite so she can be safe and protected for the winter weather. Mary was pleaed with the plan and we went ahead and began the process for a home she will love. 

Weathertite replaced the whole roof with landmark woodscape 30 year shingles with an Articectural look. The gutters that were on the home were still in great condition so we reinstalled them. We applied new lead counterflashing around the chimney and replaced the damaged sheathing. After the job was completed the yard was cleaned of all the left over debris.

Mary loved the outcome of her new roof and will be very happy for many years to come. 

Roof Installation - Shelton, CT

Rich and Melissa, Shelton homeowners, called Weathertite Systems and asked us to check out their leaky roof and give them a free estimate on a roof installation. The roof was leaking in many spots due to the old age and run down shingles. Weathertite came to the conclusion that our team needed to remove and replace the complete roof. We removed and replaced 234'x8 shets of 1/2" CDX plywood as well as ground and repointed the chimney crown. We decided to replace the 3 tab shingles with archietctual shingles.

The home looks amazing and is safe from leaks for many years to come. The homeowner recommended us to their friends and family.

New Roof - Darien, CT

The Weathertite crew was called by Robert to assess the condition of his roof.  The roof was not in withstanding condition, so the owner wanted Weathertite to complete the job.  Weathertite stripped the roof, replaced damaged sheathing, applied water barrier at eaves, applied new aluminum edging the complete perimeter of roof areas, applied new vent pipe boots, and finally applied new shingles.  The homeowner chose Cobblestone Gray, certainteed architecture 30 year guarentee shingles.  The Cobblestone Gray shingles popped with the white house; it looks absolutely beautiful.  The homeowner loves the look and functionality of the roof. 

New Roof - Danbury, CT

After careful inspection of this Danbury home, our crew came to realize that they needed a new roof installment due to wear and tear of the last one. The residents, Juan, called us in order to fully explain to us what he presumed was the issue. The leaky roof was correct and so our team went to work to install the proper roof for him and ensure that he had what he needed to survive the insane weather that lies ahead. 

We used Certainteed's shingles and they chose the Architectural style in order to get the feel of their original home. The roof had underlayments installed to gurantee perfection. Along with winterguards for all kinds of conditions here in New ENgland and a sunset brick color to add to their home. 

The customers were nothing but pleased and said their home felt brand new. 

Main House with New Roof - Bridgeport, CT

Homeowner, Jim, in Bridgeport saw trouble in his home and so he contacted Weathertite because he was ensured that We Do it Right. He was certain he chose the right team to do his work because there is no team like Weathertite. He had so many problems with his roof, from stains to leaky roofs, he needed a new one and 24 hour protection to serve for his main house. Weathertite knew where the problem was and answered questions to the best of our abilty so homeowners, like Jim, can really trust us. 

We installed ice and water barriers on the roof and chimneys to protect against harsh temperatures, can't be too leninet with those winter storms. They also chose the Architectural look from Certainteed to bring back an old style home to their new style home, in order to feel like it was their orginial house setting. 

Overall the family was very happy and we satisified yet another customer. 

Skylights and Roofing Job - Newtown, CT

This home needed all types of work, that is what homeowner, Julie, said to us about her house in Newtown, Connecticut. As we made our way over, we realized that she was correct with her statement. We gave her an estimate she could not refuse and began working. She was excited to see what Weathertite had to offer. 

We installed two nw skylights for the home, in order to give her the home that she wants. Now for the roof, we removed and installed 2 sheets of plywood and framing. Then Julie chose Certainteed's Resawn Shake shingles in the Artitectural style which she believes gave her the home that she wanted for certain. After her job was complete we finished it off with cleaning up the debris.

Here at Weathertite our goal is customer satisfaction and that is what we recieved from Julie. She was very pleased with our work. 

Roofing Job - Weston, CT

This home in Weston, Connecticut needed a new roof and so the homeowner, Gary, called Weathertite to get the roof that they wanted. After careful inspection of this house, the crew came to the conclusion that they needed mutliple jobs done in order to get what the homeowners wanted and protect against the Connecticut weather all in one.

Weathertite installed Certainteed's Moire Black shingles in the Landmark 30 style which the customers chose. We Also did the hip and ridge in the same Moire Black shingles. We installed a winterguard for both ice and water so it's all year round protection. Weathertite also put shingle air vents - Air Vent 11 which would give proper air flow on the roof of the home. All this work to ensure nothing, but satisfaction for the customer.

The homeowners were very pleased with our work and felt at peace to know their home would be protected against the Connecticut weather. 

Gutter Replacement- Brookfield, CT

Weathertite Systems, LLC was called to replace gutters for a home in Brookfield, CT.  The main target of the home that needed replacement was the rear.  We removed all of the existing gutters and down spouts from the eaves located on the rear main section of the unit and we discarded.  The crew installed new white 6" seamless .032 gutters to the to the areas removed.  We installed new white downspouts to the areas removed with new white elbows where needed.  We applied tripolymer gutter sealant where needed.  Then the crew removed all of the left over debris.  The homeowner was so impressed with the work Weathertite Systems did, that he referred many of his friends and family to our company.  

Siding Job- Fairfield, CT

Weathertite was called by a condo association owner to replace siding on many buildings and garages.  The cedar impression siding had holes and cracks and was in desperate need of replacement.  Weathertite Systems removed the existing cedar impressions siding and trim from all of the mansard walls.  We removed the existing underlayment, and we removed and replaced all damaged plywood.  The crew installed home wrap to the complete mansard as well as new cedar impressions vinyl siding to all mansard walls where it was removed to match the Montauk building.  Finally, the team removed all of the left over debris.  The condo owner was very pleased with the work of Weathertite.

Roofing Repair- Bethel, CT

Our crew was called down by a condo owner in Bethel, CT to fix the flat roof over an entrance because it had a leak.  We removed the existing gutters from along the roof located on the front flat roof section above the clubhouse entrance and saved them.  We then removed the existing railing system from the flat roof and set it aside.  We removed the existing rubber roof system and discarded it.  We replaced damaged sheathing with CDX plywood and fastened ISO panels to the entire roof with scres and plates.  The crew installed rubber membrane to he entire area and new white metal edging to the roof perimeter and vover tape.  We removed all debris from the job site.

Roof Replacement Danbury, CT

Juan of Danbury called Weathertite needing a new roof.  Water was leaking into his home and he needed a complete roof replacement.  Our Weatherite crew began the project by stripping the entire roof down to the deck.  We replaced damaged sheathing and applied ice and water barrier at eaves and valleys.  New vent pipe boots and new roofing shingles were applied , as well as new lead counter flashing around the chimney.  We applied Ridgevent and removed existing gutters then replaced them with new ones. We then removed old downspouts and applied new ones.  At the end of the project we performed a meticulous cleanup and Juan was very satisfied with our work.

Shingle Repair- Danbury, CT

John C. of Danbury called Weathertite Systems because they needed their roof repaired.  In an area of their roof, the shingles were curling and coming off.  Weathertite went in and removed the damaged shingles and installed ice and water barrier to the area.  We installed new shingles of like color and style.  We then applied Tripolymer sealant to the area and removed all of the debris.  

Siding Job- Danbury, CT

John of Danbury called Weathertite Systems because his siding had been damaged by cable installers.  The cable company damaged two pieces of vinyl siding.  The Weathertite Systems crew removed the two pieces of siding, discarded them, and installed new siding of like style and color to the areas removed.  We then applied Tripolymer sealant where it was needed and we cleaned up.  John was very pleased with the repair and recommended us to his friends and family.

Gutter Replacement- Easton, CT

Ed C. was looking to have new gutters installed on his home in Easton.  The Weathertite crew replaced three gutters in the front of the home, three gutters in the rear of the home, but we kept the existing down spouts to reinstall.  The homeowner was very happy with the results and recommended us to his neighbors.

Roofing and Siding Repair- Trumbull, CT

A condo association owner called Weathertite Systems looking repair the roofing on one of his condos in Trumbull.  We sent out a member of our team, Joel to assess what needed to be done and to come up with a plan.  Joel decided that we needed to remove damaged roofing shingles and install ice and water barrier to the area; that is exactly what the crew did.  The crew then proceeded to install new metal edging, new starter strips, and new shingles of like color and style.  Our team then cleaned up the grounds of the condo leaving no debris.  

Roofing Repair- Ridgefield, CT

A Ridgefield, CT homeowner called Weathertite because she needed a new roof.  She was very concerned because water was seeping through her roof.  Weathertite sent someone over to give her a free estimate and the homeowner was ready to get her roof fixed.  The crew went over the following week and stripped her entire roof and installed a whole new roof with all new materials and gutters.   Following the job, the crew cleaned up all left over debris and the homeowner was very happy.

Roofing Repair- Brookfield, CT

A home in Brookfield needed to have his roof repaired.  The Weathertite crew removed the roofing shingles down to the decking from the skylight located on the front main roof.  We removed the existing skylight and discarded it.  Then, we applied ice and water barrier to the area where the shingles were removed.  We then installed a new skylight and new shingles of like color and style where they had been removed.  Karnak roofing cement was applied between the new shingles and skylight apron as well as Tripolymer sealant where it was needed.  When the job was complete, the roofers cleaned up the area removing all left over debris.  The homeowner was ecstatic with the way our team did the roof repair.

Gutter Installation - Stamford, CT

This Stamford, CT building needed a couple things, so the owner had called us to see what could be done.  In order to proceed, he wanted a quote on the specified job; we sent our project manager out to assess a possible price.  Once he was ready to move forward, a contract was signed and a date to begin work was set.

 We installed a new, white, 6 inch gutter with a 3x4 leader and elbow to the left side of the building that the tobacco shop is located in.  It was also specified for the gutters to be hung with straps, leaders to be run behind and along the stone wall (approx. 24 ft), and for all the debris to be cleaned up and hauled away.  The owner of the building was happy with the work we completed and knew it was a job well done.

Roofing, Siding, and Gutters - Stamford, CT

A customer from Stamford needed a good amount of work done, but nothing is ever too much for Weathertite to handle.  It was a go with us from the beginning, so after they signed with our company, we began work as soon as possible.  The work included:

  • Removing the existing gutter from the roof eave located above the rear lower flat roof section on the building
  • Removing the fascia eave trim metal from where the gutter was removed
  • Removed the cedar shake vinyl siding and copper flashing from along the bib on the flat roof section and save
  • Remove the flat roofing material down to the decking
  • Replaced any damaged sheathing with CDX plywood
  • Mechanically fastened a tapered system with ISO panels to the flat roof section so that the flat roof may drain in the opposite direction
  • Installed 0.06 rubber membrane to the entire area with C-6 on the opposite roof eave. 
  • Installed new white brake bent aluminum trimming to the area removed while re-installing the original gutter
  • Re-install the cedar shake Vinyl siding and copper flashing to the area removed.
  • Installed a new white 5-inch seamless gutter to the roof eave (opposite the entrance) and 1 new downspout using 2”x3” leaders and elbows and connect the downspout to the existing downspout located to the left of the flat roof section
  • Seal all needed areas with trypolymer sealant

After the work was completed, we made sure all debris were cleaned up and removed from the property.  The customer was pleased with the quality of the work completed. 

Condos in Wilton, CT - Roof Replacement

Weathertite got a call about these condos in Wilton, CT all in need of new roofs or roof repairs. We came to check out the condos and knew that after careful inspection, which houses needed new roofs and which houses just needed repairs. 

We offered different shingle colors from Owens Corning and each home was able to match nicely to each other. The customer was very happy with her choice. We removed and replaced the complete roofing systemon units 1 through 20 as well as their gutter system. We also removed and replaced all the dormer siding and cornerboard.

After we were all finished, we removed all debris and the customer was pleased with it.

Roofing Installation - Sandy Hook

Old and leaky roof made homeowner in Sandy Hook, CT contact Weathertite. As the crew was checking out the job, he came to the conclusion that the roof really needed some work and the customer knew that. 

Customer chose the Moire Black Certainteed shingles in order to accent nicely off the brick house. We removed and replaced the gutters, leaders, elbows, and the roofing system. We also added Winter Guards for Ice and Water, because with this New England weather you can never be too safe. 

The customer was very pleased with our work. 

Roof / Gutter Installation - Newtown, CT

 

Maddy, a homeowner from Newtown, Connecticut called our office in need of our assistance.  Her roof was in rough shape, and hadn’t been worked on in years.  She was also having problems with her aging gutters, which were leaking whenever any heavy rain rolled through.  After surveying the house Maddy agreed on a date in mid-July, 2013.  The work we completed included:

  • Removed and replaced the complete roofing system
  • Removed and replaced selected gutter sections

The majority of the gutters needed replacement, but a couple spots along the perimeter were instructed to be left alone.  As you can see from the photos, the roof was in dire need of repair: Weathertite solved this problem and provided Maddy with a safe, efficient, beautiful new roof.  She was so pleased with the finished product and how her home looked after the renovation.

Window / Door Repair - Stratford, CT

Talia called our office and asked about our accredited window and door work!  In order to better understand exactly what needed to be done, we sent out our company representative, Joel Ortiz, to assess her home and take some measurements.  Talia and Joel then further discussed what she wanted to do to move forward, and she decided that we had wanted our company to do the job.  We set up a date to begin work, and then got to work.  Our crew arrived on the date decided, and they:

  • Removed the existing trimming from around the patio slider
  • Removed the existing patio slider
  • Installed new primed pine trimming and wrapped trim with brown aluminum brake bent coil stock
  • Sealed needed areas
  • Removed all debris

The job went very smoothly and Talia was happy with what we had done for her.  The window and door work which was completed was quality, and would last Talia for a long time.  We were happy to work with this customer since she was so kind and generous, as we were to her and any concerns she may have had.  Thanks Talia!

Siding Job- Washington, CT

Murray called Weathertite Systems because he needed to have the siding on his home redone.  We sent out our project manager to his home to take a look at the damage that needed to be fixed.  The project manager wrote up a free estimate and the homeowner signed it.  We began work the next week and our work included:

  • Removed the ice and water barrier from around the cupola located on the main roof section on the barn.
  • Installed new ice and water barrier to the entire area.
  • Installed new white composite corners.
  • Installed new primed cedar clapboard siding.
  • Installed new primed pine crown molding.
  • Sealed all areas with white Tripolymer sealant.
  • Removed all debris.

When the job was complete, Murray was very pleased with all of the work that was done.

Roof Repair - Shelton, CT

In order to help Mrs. Barbara out in the most productive way, we recommended her a free estimate when she contacted us about her roof.  She wanted someone to take a look at her current roof since she was having some issues with it.  When our sales representative traveled to her home in Shelton, CT, he assessed the work that needed to be completed in order to better her home.  Here’s a list of what was done:

  • Remove existing shingles from complete dormer and valleys on the rear dormer of home
  • Replace any damaged plywood
  • Install ice and water barrier to complete dormer and valleys
  • Install new white rake and drip edging
  • Install new shingles of like make and color to complete dormer and valleys
  • Shingle valleys using the closed, tuck and cut method
  • Install new capping of like make and color
  • Remove all debris
  • Install zinc strips just below capping along front and rear of all main ridges

This work began about 10-14 days after Mrs. Barbara called the office, and was completed in about 1-2 days.  Mrs. Barbara was left with a strong roof that would last her for a long time.  We provide top quality roofs with impeccable service; something we stand by.

Roof Installation- Norwalk, CT

Bob called Weathertite Systems because he needed someone to come down to his home and take a look at his leaking roof.  We sent out our project manager to assess the problem and see the work that needed to be done on the home’s roof.  After we wrote up a free quote, Bob agreed to it and we began work as soon as the supplies were delivered to the home.  We worked on the following:

  • Strip roof, removing the two existing layers of roofing down to the wooden deck.
  • Replace any damaged sheathing.
  • Apply ice and water barrier at eaves and valleys.
  • Apply new aluminum edging to complete roof areas.
  • Apply underlayment.
  • Apply new vent pipe boots.
  • Apply new roofing shingles.
  • Apply new counterflashing on the chimneys.
  • Apply Ridgevent on the ridges.
  • Remove existing gutters and downspouts and discard of them.
  • Apply new Seamless Aluminum Gutter System- Standard 5” white.
  • Clean up daily and remove all job related debris from the premises when complete.
  • Clean all roofing debris from the gutters when complete.

Bob was pleased with the work our crew did on the home.  

Window Installation - Wilton, CT

Window work in Wilton!  Albert called in regards to his current window system in his home.  We guided him through the process: first we informed him of his free estimate!  This would require one of our representatives to meet Albert at his home to discuss the windows and take some measurements.  After this, a date was set to begin the work.  The following is a list of all completed work:

  • Remove the existing triple casement window located on the front upper section on the unit and discard
  • Install a new, white, atrium, series 750, new construction, triple lite casement window with standard Low-E/Argon, Double strength glass
  • Install new, composite exterior trimming to the area
  • Seal all needed areas with tri polymer sealant
  • Remove all debris

The newly installed window looked exceptional on Albert’s home, and he was glad he went with us to install it.  The products we carry are built to last, and it’s hard to find another company with great service to accompany them.

 

Roof Replacement - Monroe, CT

Richard, a homeowner located in Monroe, CT, was in need of a new roofing system.  Prior to knowing this, he called our office and we set up an appointment for him to meet with one of our company reps.  When meeting with Richard, we discussed what the problem might have been.  We ended up concluding that there were a few specific areas that required attention for installing the new roofing system.  These included:

  • Double coarse of Winterguard (Ice & Water barrier) eaves
  • Protect back deck with plywood
  • Protect shrubs as best as possible
  • On back roof, extend Ice & Water up to and around dryer vent
  • On two chimneys that were recently re-flashed, it is possible that they require new flashing
  • See instructions/flashing kit
  • Use caution around skylight
  • Customer concerned about  hand nailing plywood…use best practices

As far as what was completed, this includes:

  • Remove 3/8” plywood off of entire roof
  • Install ½” CDX plywood on the entire roof

After completion of the job, we addressed any concerns he may have had, and were happy to see that he enjoyed what he saw.  The work completed was quality, and Richard thanked us in the end.

Roof Repair - Stratford, CT

 

Bob was curious as to who to call for his roofing troubles!  Thankfully he called Weathertite Systems.  We guided him through the roof repair process and made it especially easy for him to tell us what he needed.  We serviced him with a roofing professional to take measurements and get a more thorough understanding of what Bob was in need of.  The following is what took place at the job site:

  • All repairs are due to damage from ice and snow removal
  • Remove and replace the bottom 2 rows of shingles from across the complete eave on the rear low slope roof
  • Remove and replace approximately 20 shingles in several areas on the front and rear of the main roof and garage
  • Remove and replace 1-3” vent pipe boot and surrounding shingles
  • Remove all debris

The repair process went very smoothly, something Bob wasn’t expecting.  Weathertite provided top quality service that we hoped was to Bob’s liking.  After the job was complete, we cleaned up any leftover materials and exited the premise with it looking as if we were never there.

Window Installation - Stratford, CT

 

Elias B. of Stratford called and was curious about her outdated windows, and what could possibly be done.  The trim around the windows was going bad, which can eventually lead to leaking if not taken care of right away.  After inspection of her home and a date was set to begin work, the following is what was completed:

  • Removed the exterior pine trimming from around the two sliding windows and one picture window on the unit and discard
  • Removed the windows and discard
  • Installed two new Simonton, pro-finish, contractor’s series vinyl, tan, two lite sliding windows to the areas removed and one new Simonton pro-finish, contractor’s series, vinyl, tan picture window to the area removed on the unit (sliding windows and picture window are energy star rated.)
  • Installed new primed pine to the exterior perimeter of the newly installed windows
  • Installed new, brown, smooth, brake bent, aluminum trimming to the exterior perimeter of the newly installed windows
  • Sealed all needed areas with tri polymer sealant
  • Picture windows comes with double-glazed, regular strength, low-E, argon glass
  • Sliding windows comes with double glazed, regular strength
  • Removed all debris

Elias was pleased to find out how much we helped her!  She could now enjoy the safety and efficiency of her new windows!  

Ridge Vent Repair - Trumbull, CT

 

When John called our office in late 2011, he mentioned that his roof might need some repairs.  In order for us to diagnose exactly what was wrong with his roof, we sent out a project manager to take a better look.  Once at his home, our representative took measurements and found out that John’s ridge capping needed to be replaced; this would solve the ventilation issues he was having.  A date was set to begin work and the following was done to his home in Trumbull:

  • Remove ridge capping on main roof of home
  • Cut slots in roof for ridge vent
  • Remove and replace top row of shingles on each side of ridge
  • Install ridge vent
  • Install ridge cap
  • Shingle style architectural, color charcoal black

The above work completes the roof repair for John B.  He was happy with the final result and was glad he didn’t have to worry anymore.

Stratford, CT Roof Replacement

With the Winter weather coming to an end, homeowners, Janet and Dave, contacted Weathertite because they felt this was the last season that the roof can handle. They weren’t entirely wrong; a new roof was very much needed.   

Weathertite Systems installed a new roofing system after the homeowners chose the shingles that they wanted. They chose CertainTeed Granite Gray 30-year shingles in the Architectural style which went really nicely with their home. We stripped down the roof and installed the material. With ice and water barriers at all corners of the home for future protection. We also installed new gutters on the home and the garage. The homeowner was very happy with our work, as were we. 

Siding Replacement Project in Stratford, CT

Janet and Dave contacted Weathertite Systems again after we completed a job with their roof. They wanted more done to their home to give it a new look completely, so we replaced their old siding. The job included the following:

  • Remove existing wood-shake siding and trim boards from 2 complete dormers, on roof, in front of home
  • Wrap complete dormers with ice and water barrier down over roof flashing
  • Bend 2 new, white, aluminum aprons for the front of both dormers
  • Install new Azek brand composite trim boards to complete 2 dormers
  • Install primed, cedar wood-shake siding to complete 2 dormers
  • Remove all debris

The homeowners were very happy with their entire home. It felt brand new. 

Window and Door Installation- Norwalk, CT

Weatherite installed windows and doors in a home in Norwalk.  Our work included the following:

  • Remove the existing rear entry door on the deck and discard.
  • Install a new wood grain, fiberglass entry door with half glass, 4 lite with two raised lower panels.
  • The new door has brass hinges, brass lockset, brass deadbolt, and primed pine brickmold that will be wrapped with white, pvc coated aluminum coil stock.
  • Clean the existing caulking around all of the existing windows and garage doors.
  • Re-seal all of the windows and garage doors with Phenoseal Sealant.
  • Remove all debris.
Door Installation- Norwalk, CT

Our crew installed new doors on a home in Norwalk, CT.  Our work included the following:

·         Remove the storm door from the front entry door and save.

·         Remove the existing siding and j- channels from around the front entry of the door and save.

·         Remove the front existing entry door with side lights and discard.

·         Install one new Jeld-Wen Bristol series design- pro oak entry door with side lights.

Siding Job- Norwalk, CT

Our crew installed new doors on a home and in order to do that we had to remove the siding off of the home and install new siding.  We did the following:

  • Remove the existing siding and J-Channels from around the rear sliding patio door and save.
  • Remove the patio door and discard.
  • Install new Pella, Thermaster white, vinyl siding patio door with blinds.
  • Install new white PVC coated brake bent aluminum trim to the exterior of the door.
  • Seal all appropriate areas with white Tripolymer sealant.
  • Remove all debris.
Shingle Repair - Monroe, CT

The following was completed to Matt B.’s home in Monroe, CT:

  • Removed the last two rows of the top layer of shingles across both aprons on the front porch
  • Removed the existing top layer of shingles along the small wall on the front porch
  • Installed ice and water barrier in all four areas
  • Installed new shingles of like make and color where removed using roofing cement under the new shingles along the wall
  • Installed new shingles of like make and color under the original aluminum flashing along both aprons
  • Removed all debris

Gutter Installation in Farifield, CT

Shannon was in the market to have her gutter system redone and chose Weathertite to complete the job.  We did the following:

  • Remove the complete gutter system on the home and detached garage.
  • Install new, 5”, .032 white seamless gutters with hidden hangers.
  • Install new, white, 2”X3” downspouts using hidden pipe cleats.
  • Replace where existing.
  • Remove all debris.

Following the job, Shannon was very pleased with the work we did on her home.  It was done in a timely manner and perfectly!  

Window Replacement in Stratford, CT

Karen and her husband wanted to install new windows in their home.  Our project manager went out to their home and looked at all of the work that needed to be done. 

 We decided on the following:

  • Remove and replace one double slider window unit in the kitchen.
  • Remove and replace one single casement and one fixed picture window in the bedroom.
  • Remove and replace two double slider window units in the master bedroom.
  • Remove and replace one patio sliding door in the living room.
  • All units are to be replaced using Simonton pro finish contractor series.
  • All units are low E, tan, vinyl, units.
  • Remove existing units and discard.
  • Install new units.
  • Install fiberglass insulation around new units.
  • Re-trim interior.
  • Wrap exterior with new brake bent aluminum trim.
  • Seal all needed areas.

 

Chimney Project- Stratford, CT

Weathertite was enlisted to repair a chimney for a Stratford, CT homeowner.  The repair included replacing damaged bricks, pouring new cement crown, applying water repellent, and stainless stell cap covers.  Following the job, our crew cleaned up the perimeter and the chimney looked and functioned great leaving the homeowner very happy with the repairs!

Gutter Installation in Danbury, CT

Juan called our offices because he needed to have new gutters installed on his home.  Our crew did the following work:

  • Remove the existing waterfall gutter guards on the home from where the downspouts are located and save.
  • Clean the gutters of all debris.
  • Clean all the gutter guards on the home.
  • Re-Seal the endcaps, mitres, and popouts with Tipolymer Sealant.
  • Re-install the gutter guards to the areas removed.
  • Install new waterfall endcaps to the areas needed.
  • Remove all debris.

Our crew did an amazing job with the gutter system leaving our customer, Juan very pleased!  He did it right by choosing Weathertite!

Roof Replacement in Newtown

The following was completed to Nancy’s home in Newtown, CT:

  • Removed and replaced the complete roofing system on the complete home including all of the decking on the main house section
  • Removed and replaced the vinyl siding on both dormers
  • Removed and replaced the two skylights
  • Removed and re-hung the main house gutters and removed and replaced the gutters on the addition while re-using the existing downspouts
  • Removed and replaced six additional sheets of CDX plywood
  • Ground and re-pointed the complete chimney

This job was completed in October of 2015

Shelton, CT Roof Repair!

Matt called Weathertite for some work on his home. Weathertite removed and replaced the complete roofing system per the contract. We removed and replaced 3 4’x8’ sheets of 5/8” plywood. We removed and replaced existing gutters, leaving existing downspouts per the contract. Installed sure guards gutter guards to all the gutters on the entire home. Replaced additional 30’ of 2x3 leaders. Replaced 13 2x3 elbows and additional 21’ of sure guard gutter guards for an additional cost. The customer was very pleased. 

Gutter Installation in Bridgeport, CT

Joe from Bridgeport, Ct contacted Weathertite Systems about his old gutters and what he should do because they seemed to not be working during the change in weather. Weathertite came down and removed all of his old gutters and discarded them. We then installed 6 sectinos of white .032 seamless gutters. 2 sections on the front of the house and 1 section on the right side of the garage as well as 3 sections on the rear of the home. We also installed 6 sections of leaders with elbows in the color of white because the customer chose that color for their home. Their home looked great, another job well done here at Weathertite Systems. 

Heat Cable Installation - Shelton, CT

Jim C. of Shelton was curious as to who could help him with the ice dams he’s been getting.  We assured him that Heat cables are one of the best ways to take care of the problem.  When our crew arrives to his home, they completed the following:

  • Installed one new electrical outlet box on the outside of the home
  • Removed all the debris from all the gutters on the entire home and discard
  • Installed a new heating cable system to the main rear roof eave section on the home, all the gutters and down the existing downspouts
  • Installed new waterfall gutter guard system to all existing gutters on the entire home
  • Removed all the debris

Jim was pleased with the outcome of the job completed, especially when he tried the new cables out and they melted the extra snow on his roof!

Exterior and Interior Trimming - Wilton, CT

The following was completed on Barbara’s home in Wilton, Connecticut in February of 2014:

  • Removed the existing exterior and interior trimming from around the sliding patio door located on the rear section of the unit
  • Removed the slider and discard
  • Cleaned the area
  • Installed a new, white, vinyl, Simonton, pro-finish series, two lite sliding patio door to the area removed
  • Installed new, white, composite brickmould trimming to the exterior perimeter and new, primed pine, colonial trimming to the interior perimeter
  • Sealed all needed areas with tri polymer sealant
  • Slider comes with low E/argon, double strength, tempered glass, half screen, keyed locks and foot bolt

Roof Repair in Wilton, CT

The following was completed to Ken’s home in Wilton, CT:

  • Removed one later of roofing from around three skylights and discard
  • Installed two new velux fixed skylights and one new velux venting skylight
  • Wrapped all skylights with ice and water barrier
  • Installed new shingles using new flashing kits
  • Painted existing fan with customer supplied paint
  • Removed all debris

Gutter Installation in Fairfield

The following was completed to April’s home in Fairfield, CT:

  • Take down and haul away old gutter system
  • Install .032 GA bronze gutters with bronze leaders, elbows, and miters on house and garage in back of home
  • Install a 2-3 foot diverter on gutter at valley rear or home
  • Install pvc leader adapters on underground drains
  • Clean up and haul away debris
Roof repair - Fairfield

We helped Frank C. of Fairfield with his roof issues.  After he called, we set up an appointment for him, and the following was completed on his home in November of 2016:

  • Removed all of the standing water off damaged seam areas on back side of entire roof
  • Cleared roof repair areas of all debris
  • Dried off work areas with blower
  • Prepared work areas with cleaner/primer
  • Installed cover tape to all seam areas in these areas
  • Installed t-patches as needed in these areas
  • Removed all debris
Ivory Shingles installed in Westport, CT

The following was completed to Michael’s home in Westport, Connecticut:

  • Cut back existing shingles to allow for proper gutter installation on seven separate buildings
  • Installed ivory. .032 seamless gutters with new downspouts on seven separate buildings
  • Removed all debris

In order to better assist Michael, we kept him informed of all job activities while we were there.  He was happy with the results of the job and pleased with the service. 

Existing Vent Pipe Removal in Monroe, CT

The following was completed to Sylvia C’s home in Monroe, CT:

  • Removed the existing shingles form around the vent pipe located on the front right main roof section of the home
  • Removed existing vent pipe boot and discarded
  • Installed ice and water barrier around the vent pipe
  • Installed a new vent pipe boot and new surrounding shingles of like make and color
  • Sealed the boot to the pipe with tri-polymer sealant
  • Removed all debris

Bob called our company and was interested in having his entire roof done.  The following was completed to his home in Monroe, CT:

  • Removed one layer of roofing down to the decking from the entire rear low slope roof section on the home
  • Removed the gutter from the eave and save
  • Installed certainteed flintlastic base sheet to the entire area
  • Installed new white metal edging to the perimeter
  • Installed certainteed flintlastic cap sheet in black
  • Installed new shinlges of like style and color to the area removed on the pitch change
  • Re-installed the original gutter to the area removed with new hidden hangers

Brick Molding - Shelton, CT

Judy C. of Shelton, CT contacted our office in the summer of 2012.  She explained that she was looking for someone to repair her brick molding and some other odds and ends.  Our associate guided her through the process, which took no time at all.  The following ended up being completed at Judy’s home in Shelton, CT:

  • Remove the existing exterior brick molding from around the bow window located on the front of the home and discard
  • Remove the existing interior trimming from around the bow window and discard
  • Remove the bow window and discard
  • Install a new, Anderson, 5-wide, low-E, aluminum clad, pine laminated casement bow window
  • Install new interior wood trimming to the window
  • Install new, white, composite brick molding to the exterior of the window
  • Seal all needed areas with tri polymer sealant

Vinyl Siding repair - Newtown, CT

The following was completed to Nancy Cremins’ home in Middlebury, CT:

  • Removed the damaged panels of vinyl siding and J-channels from the area located above the rear lower roof section on the home and discard
  • Installed new, white, vinyl siding panels and j-channels to the area removed
  • Removed the 4-5 damaged capping shingles from the rear lower roof section and discard
  • Installed new capping shingles of like style to the area removed

Door Installation - Bethel, CT

The following was completed at Mr. & Mrs. Yates house in Bethel, CT:

  • Removed the exterior aluminum trimming from around the perimeter of the sliding patio door located on the rear section on the unit and discard.
  • Removed the vinyl siding and insulation from the area and saved.
  • Cut back the cedar siding and discard.
  • Removed the patio door and discard.
  • Installed CDX plywood to the area from where the cedar siding was removed.
  • Installed 2 new, vinyl, Simonton, pro-finish, Brickmould 600 series 2-lite sliding patio door to the area removed.
  • Door has decorum bronze exterior, white interior finish oil rubbed bronze exterior handles and white interior handles, keyed locks, foot bolt, half screen, and double-paned low-e argon glass (U-Factor.27, SHGC.28).
  • Reinstalled the insulation and vinyl siding to the areas removed.
  • Installed new, brake bent, aluminum trimming to the areas removed.
  • Sealed all needed areas with tripolymer sealant.
  • Removed all debris.

Gutter Cleaning - Shelton, CT

Dave Z. wanted his gutters cleaned and a de-icing cable installed, so he contacted Weathertite. Here's what we did:

  • Clean the gutter on the front main roof.
  • Installed roof-gutter de-icing cable on the roof in the gutter and in both downspouts.
  • Clean the two gutters at the rear breezeway.
  • Installed roof-gutter de-icing cable on the roof, along the garage valley, up the rabbit run wall and in the gutter and both downspouts.
  • Cleaned up and hauled away debris.

Woodshake Removal - New Canaan, CT

John Z. wanted his woodshake sidings removed and replaced with ice and water barriers. Here's what we did for him: 

  • Removed woodshake siding from right side of window in rear of house and discard.
  • Removed woodshake from adjacent corner and discard.
  • Applied ice and water barrier to areas removed.
  • Applied new pre-primed cedar woodshakes to area removed.
  • Applied Tripolymer sealant around window.
  • Removed all debris.

Brick Repair in New Fairfield, CT

Debra C. of New Fairfield contacted our office regarding some work she needed done.  The following was completed for her in August of 2010:

  • Ground out water damaged joints under slope
  • Chopped out approx. 16 bricks and replaced
  • Applied two coats of acrylic 60 mix to cap on slope
  • Painted chimney slope with acrylic 60
  • Repaired side walk cleaned up and hauled away debris

Shingle Replacement & Waterproofing the Chimney - New Fairfield, CT

Joe W. of New Fairfield wanted new shingles installed and his chimney waterproofed, so he contacted Weathertite. We got to work immediately and here's what we did for him: 

  • Removed the last row of shingles from along the exposed aluminum flashing located on the front lower roof section on the home and discard.
  • Removed the roofing shingles and flashing from around the base of the chimney (top and lower) and discard.
  • Installed ice and water barrier to the base of the chimney (top and lower).
  • Installed aluminum stepflashing to the areas needed along the bib flashing.
  • Installed new shingles of like color to the areas removed with new bibs, corners, stepflashing and lead counterflashing to the top and lower sections of the chimney.
  • Waterproofed the entire chimney down to the lower roof INE 100%.
  • Sealed the aluminum trimming located on the sills on the windows above the lower roof section with white tripolymer sealant.
  • Extended the existing downspout located on the front right main roof section with 2” X 3” leaders and elbows so that it may drain into the existing gutter located on the lower roof section of the home.
  • Removed all debris.

Joe was pleased with the final result.

Shingle Replacement - Shelton, CT

Matt W. of Shelton wanted the loose shingles from his house removed and replaced with new shingles. He contacted Weathertite and we got to work immediately. Here's what we did for Matt:

  • Removed the 2 layers of roofing down to the decking in a 3’ X 4’ area on the rear main roof section where the decking is compromised.
  • Cut out the damaged sheathing and install new cdx plywood to the area removed.
  • Installed ice and water barrier to the area.
  • Installed new shingles of like style to the area removed.
  • Removed the 2 rows of shingles (top layer only) located above the pitch change on the rear roof section and discard.
  • Removed the loose shingles (about 3-4) from along the right rake edge on the rear roof section on the home.

Mortar Joints Replacement - Shelton, CT

Dominick T. of Shelton the mortar joints on his chimney replaced, so he contacted Weathertite. Here's what we did for him:

  • Ground all of the mortar joints on the complete chimney from the wash cap to the counterflashing.
  • Blew out all of the mortar joints to remove all loose debris and dust.
  • Re-pointed all of the ground mortar joints from the wash cap to the counterflashing.
  • Applied acrylic 60 to the complete wash cap for strength.
  • Applied a thick slurry coat to the complete wash cap.
  • Applied waterproofing to the complete chimney.
  • Removed all debris.

Gable End Vent Replacement - Monroe, CT

David S. of Monroe wanted to replace his gable end vent and also replace a small section of his gutters. We got to work right away. We started with removing and replacing the gable end vent, then moved onto the gutters. After replacing the gutters, we installed ice and water barriers to the complete area. We also installed new lead flashing and a new section of 6” gutters. After all of this, we removed all of the debris from the area. David was very pleased with the final result.

Capping & Shingles Replacement - Stratford, CT

Jerry S. of Stratford needed some capping and shingles replaced so he contacted Weathertite. We got the job done ASAP. We removed the shingles and capping and replaced them with new shingles and capping of like style and color. Jerry was pleased with the final result and was thankful that we got the job done so quickly.

Sliding Door Replacement - Fairfield, CT

Virginia L. of Fairfield wanted to replace her current sliding doors, so she contacted Weathertite. To start the job we removed the trimming around the current sliders and then removed the sliders. We installed 2 new simonton, white, vinyl profinish sliding doors and then installed new, white composite, exterior trimming. We finished the job by sealing the areas with tripolymer sealant and then removed all of the debris from the area. Virginia was pleased with the final result.

Once we arrived on the job site, we started by removing the gutters from the home. We installed brand new five inch, seamless, white gutters with new downspouts. A customer in Stratford needed new windows and doors, so they contacted Weathertite. We set up a start date and got to work immediately. We started the job by removing the windows  and the patio sliding door, then we replaced all of them with new windows. They were replaced using Simonton Pro Finish contractor series. We installed fiberglass insulation around the new units. We removed all of the debris from the job site and the customer was pleased with the final results.
